Titration
Increasing a dose gradually until you find the smallest amount that works. The core safety practice in cannabis dosing.
Published guidance converges on a starting oral THC dose of roughly 1 to 2.5 mg, with increases of 1 to 2.5 mg every two to three days.
The reason to go slowly is that THC has a biphasic dose-response: past a certain point, more produces worse results, not better. Titration finds the point before that.
Also written as: titrate, start low go slow.
